We extend our sincere gratitude to Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) for providing us with the invaluable opportunity to advocate for animal welfare.
On 17th Jan, 2025 The Duedroi Rangwang Zhidhey Tshogpa (Animal Rights and Welfare Association) recently featured on Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS), emphasizing the importance of animal welfare and sustainable living. We expressed gratitude for the opportunity to raise awareness and inspire positive change.
The key discussions focused on the benefits of plant-based diets, with Mrs. Pemba Yangchen, a Nutritionist at Khersar Gyelpo University of Medical Sciences, advocating for healthier, more sustainable eating habits. She highlighted the link between plant-based nutrition, environmental conservation, and ethical living.
The feature also included Mr. Tandin Sonam, a dedicated vegetarian for over 18 years, who shared his personal journey of compassionate living. His story underscored the impact of individual choices in promoting animal welfare. The DRZT member also extended its best wishes for his upcoming project, Bhutan 3, which aims to foster positive social change.
