DRZT Holds Successful Tshokhor at Punakha Dzong དུད་འགྲོའི་རངདབང་ཞི་བདེ་ཚོགས་ཆུང་། Duedroi Rangwang Zhidey Tshogchung (DRZT) successfully held a tshokhor, a Bhutanese religious offering ceremony, in honor of Zhabdrung Kuchey at Punakha Dzong on April 18th, 2024. For over three years, DRZT has organized the chanting of Zhabdrung Seldep Jigten Wangchuk, accumulating a total of 116,433,907 chants to date. This tshokhor on Zhabdrung Kuchey day served as a tribute to Zhabdrung and a way to conclude the chanting with blessings from Zhung Dratshang, the central monk body. DRZT offered Nu. 333,333/- to the dzong for the benefit of all sentient beings. Over 200 DRZT members from various districts attended the tshokhor. DRZT extends its gratitude to Zhung Dratshang for providing a delicious lunch to all members. Special thanks are also given to the Bhutan Stroke Foundation for collaborating with DRZT to initiate the tshokhor. The Bhutan Stroke Foundation also offered free health check-ups to all DRZT members, promoting their well-being.
